Terms and Conditions of our Quotations

1. Scope
These terms apply to all quotes prepared by Wepco’s tendering team.

2. Offers and Agreement
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise specified.

An order becomes binding only when it has been confirmed in writing by Wepco AS.

3. Customer’s Responsibility
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that the quoted goods/services comply with the request.

4. Reservations and Limitations
For products that are not intended for use on the Norwegian market, the offer is prepared subject to approval for export by the owner of the relevant thread license.

4.1 Material Prices and Availability
Material Prices
The offer is based on the prevailing raw material prices at the time of the offer. In the event of significant changes in material prices before the order is placed, or during the period leading up to the start of production, we reserve the right to adjust the prices in accordance with the documented cost increase.

Material Availability
Delivery time and pricing are based on normal availability of the specified materials. If supply challenges arise with our subcontractors (e.g., delays, allocation, or discontinuation of materials), we reserve the right to:

• Adjust the delivery time
• Offer alternative materials by agreement
• Renegotiate the price in the event of a documented additional cost.

4.2 Production Capacity
The stated delivery time is a nominal delivery time based on the capacity situation at the time the offer was issued.
Our production is planned continuously, and we reserve the right to adjust the delivery time if:

• Larger orders are received in the period between offer and order that significantly occupy our production capacity
• The scope of the project changes after the order is placed
• The customer fails to provide required documentation or approvals in accordance with the progress plan.

The final delivery time will be confirmed upon receipt and acceptance of the order

4.3 Our Order Confirmation
An agreement is considered entered into only upon written order confirmation from our side.
We reserve the right to adjust prices and the delivery time for orders placed after the offer’s validity period.

4.4 Changed Technical Conditions After Order Confirmation
We reserve the right to adjust prices and delivery time if the customer changes the scope of work or tolerance requirements between the order and the actual start of production, or if the necessary technical documentation from the customer is incomplete and/or not provided according to the agreed schedule.

4.5 Technical Solutions Requiring Approval by the License Holder Prior to Production
Non standard thread solutions normally require separate approval from the license holder for the specific thread. The final delivery time can only be confirmed once Wepco has received approval from the license holder.
